
THOMAS N. TESSIER, a life-long Nashua resident, entered the financial services field in 1978. Prior to that, from 1967 to 1970 he served 5 combat tours of duty in Vietnam. He is a life member of many Veterans groups. During his five years as a hospital finance administrator, from 1973 to 1978, Tom last served as CFO of a large Massachusetts hospital. Tom is past President of the Nashua Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors and a Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. He is also a past member of the NH & Nashua Charitable Foundations. A registered representative of LPL Financial, Tom is also a past member of the International Association for Financial Planning, and the NH Estate Planning Council. He taught advanced estate and retirement planning courses through the LUTC. Tom received an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Degree from SNHU in May of 2012. He holds a BS degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and was honored as the 7th member of the S.N.H.U. Alumni Hall of Fame and served as a Trustee for five years. He is a past Trustee of Rivier University. Tom is a founder and past board member of The Nashua Bank. Tom served as Chairman of the Greater Nashua United Way and is past President of the Rotary Club of Nashua in addition to many other civic and business organizations. Tom was honored with the NH Distinguished Financial Advisor Award in 2005 based on his contributions to the industry (1). In 2012 he was voted Citizen of the Year by the Nashua NH Chamber of Commerce (2).
Tom resides in Nashua with his wife Diane. His son Tommy received his Masters of Education Degree from Harvard in 2013 and is an Executive with Amazon.
